History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Megren was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Bricklayer. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 3 years.

Motivation: To be a Fletcher again; and balancing her hectic life and new bricklayer responsibilities is difficult
