History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Balifra reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balifra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Oppleby was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Layabout. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
