Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Dilettante, and he later adopted a second son.

Being a Shipwright kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
