Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pyntle embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the west to a Carter, Pyntle learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: This tall, slender woman wears skinny pants and wears a white and black robe with the hood down. She is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around her ears. Her ears are large.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Lidda enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Lidda liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Lidda and her spouse have recently divorced.
