History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Norman grew up listening to his father's many stories. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jade embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Jade and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and retire the richest woman in the east
