Unemployed work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dilettante for hire.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and balancing his hectic life and new dilettante responsibilities is difficult

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Everard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
