Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ella is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Ella never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Donella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To be a Barrister again; and sabotage a competitor
