History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Dyer father left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
