Gerard was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Cook. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vola embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Orcs. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. After a long history of fighting, Vola and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Serpent lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Namfoodle enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Namfoodle was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.
