Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Skak was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Skak's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Yevelda alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Yevelda was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
