History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. After coming to the age of reason, Hethress took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Phelaia hails from a village terrorized by drow. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). During her travels, Phelaia and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Phelaia discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Phelaia fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
