Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born in the south to a Mortician, Arannis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Arannis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. After coming to the age of reason, Helja took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
