Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Cairn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Tatyan is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Tiaathque hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Revenge; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: This man is very fat, and is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He has a very tight haircut. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a blacksmith and was forced into it by his family
