His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Peter took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
