History: Beatrice was born with her mother's beautiful face. She married young, but lost her spouse to giants. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Rosalind alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and regain custody of his daughter
