History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Goroth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Born in the north to a Courier, Eridred learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Baker, but she got bored and became a Courier. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
