History: Ekk was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
