Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Zaffrab will drive conversation. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Her black eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Phelaia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Phelaia was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
