History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Map Maker and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Bella is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and to unite with his brother
