Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. Aline enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to gnolls.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rael was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his falchion with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and he perpetually has his falchion ready. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Damien alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
