History: Born to a Roofer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Markosian learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
