He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He got into the Mayor business at a young age. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mayor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Marigold grew up listening to her father's many stories. Marigold liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and she is unsatisfied with her job
