History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Cartwright father left her crippled. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

History: Born in the north to a Bellfounder, Jo learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
