Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rurik grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rurik. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Stylist, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Her skin is flawless and her gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Juliana alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Glassblower. She has achieved small success as a Glassblower.
