Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Nija's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Nija was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nija's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Akmen reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. Vicky enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gifted from a young age, Vicky studied abroad. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Vicky was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
