History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and further expansion of business
