Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her hair is long and chestnut with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small tan clips. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Nyx was born with her father's beautiful face. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A 5'7" northern woman, she wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her eyes are likewise green. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her first spouse was a Scribe, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and carries greatswords. Her long red fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. A true patriot, Flame would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Flame fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a pastel coat with brown slacks. He has a white handlebar mustache and slicked back white hair. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Thradal was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Thradal decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and revenge
