History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Nykkan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Nykkan was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
