History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Valida never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Leucis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and balancing his hectic life and new animal trainer responsibilities is difficult

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
