His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Jeweler for the past few years.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
