History: He was born in the west. When Serpent reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born in the north. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. The war was a terrible time for her, and Dara does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she feels kind of lost in life
