History: Born to a Detective, her father struggled to pay the bills. Joan liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of orcs

He prefers to carry a bastard sword, but if one is not available he will default to his lance, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He sports a flattop hair cut. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Alex lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Healer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Alex and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a grey broad hat and grey clothes and is in decent physical shape. His golden hair is cut short. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and balancing his hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult
