History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Heartbroken, Uthemar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: She got into the Hunter business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Matilda grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Matilda. She became a Hunter soon after.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the west to a Cartwright, Shivering learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Shipwright, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
