Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with yellow colored cloaks and clothing, and is pretty ugly. Her silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Caelynn does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Caelynn was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Morgran embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to share knowledge with the world

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and expand his business

Description: She is lean but muscular and wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her brown hair is thinning but still full. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Revenge.
