Emerald enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Emerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hadarai is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His childhood dream was to be a Dilettante, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he has a crush on the local masseuse

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Mamnen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Dilettante for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
