History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
