Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Adelard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and an old rival family wants him found

History: Born in the west to a Body Guard, Randal learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
