History: Lance was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
