History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Through the years after Dagnal was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Dagnal's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Tordek hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tordek grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tordek. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
