History: Gifted from a young age, Oda studied abroad. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ranala isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ranala fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Megren hails from a village terrorized by drow. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it
