History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Anakis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: Katherine was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He became a Layabout soon after.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. She found a children's book about a Dragonborn Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion
