Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in the east to a Barrister, Lucan learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now owns his own business.

History: Ruloth was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ruloth abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, marred by beers. He keeps his auburn hair in a pixie cut. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy gray fur. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He has a hunchback. His gray fur is matted, messy, and big. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Tree was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mason they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mayor, and he later adopted a second daughter.
