Description: A middle-aged man, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing white cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze, and is pretty ugly. His auburn hair is matted, messy, and big. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was born into a rich family. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a rapier and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. At some point she was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Unvera was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. She keeps her chestnut hair in a flapper bob. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
