Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. Murgen enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Murgen was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
