Balam was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dilettante. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.
