Personality: Valafar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Performer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born in the north to a Banker, Rivaan learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Courier mother left him crippled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Banker.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Xanaphia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.
