History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born into a rich family. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: She is a husky woman, who is dressed in a clean tan cloak covering her clean studded leather. Her auburn hair is unkempt and raggedy. She has a dull look in her amber eyes.

Personality: Cumpen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cumpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gennal will drive conversation. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To be a Beggar again; and wants to open a new tavern
