Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Vezera lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has never given up on her painting dream.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. The war was a terrible time for her, and Anne does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
