Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Born in the south to a Cartwright, Merla learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to unite with his sister

Description: This malnourished man is dressed in earthy colors with a yellow and white handkerchief worn on his left side. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
