History: Born in the north to a Dilettante, Melissa learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Riswynn is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born in the north. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: Mamnen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and revenge

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He usually wears his violet robe and has his scimitar always slung over his shoulder. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
